Lace use to instantly make me think of Madonna in the 80′s. Her signature lace gloves, crop tops (which have made a comeback in a big way recenlty), and lace bows in her hair…..but not anymore!
I am totally obsessed with everything LACE at the moment, and can’t seem to get enough of it! From just a touch of it, like the Topshop jumper below to a full on lace dress, like the Stone Cold Fox daisy lace dress (One of my new favorite designers by the way!).
I tend to lean more towards the retro 70′s silhouette, and I love how lace gives you a little bit of an edge (because you can’t help but think of lingerie), while being seemingly sweet & innocent (because of it’s delicate appeal) at the same time.
