I could live like this forever

Last day of a whole weekend off, and it was a pretty lazy hazy day for us.

The hubby and I were out late the night before with a few friends to celebrate our very good friend Denise’s birthday, so we weren’t feelin very chipper.

We headed down to Benicia to take my brother out to a belated birthday lunch, and had coffee with my sister and our dad.

Later, it was a laid back stroll through the park downtown, and we took the opportunity to take a few shots. The weather was great, and it felt so nice to feel the warm sun, especially after the drizzly rain and gray skies of Saturday.

Btw, I could totally live in this dress. It is the most comfortable thing ever.

{dress-Edme & Esytle, jean jacket-very old A&F, shoes-Frye, handbag-vintage Coach, elephant necklace-Ebay, watch-La Mer, bracelets-vintage, earrings-Anthro}

Will had fun playin around with his sunglasses by putting them over his camera lens.

I have to admit it looks pretty cool.

Filter = Vintage BluBlocker. ;)

I really love the filter he used on this photo.

It definitely gave it more of a vintage quality & feel, and I love how it looks like I’m chillin on a porch somewhere down in Louisiana. :D

All I needed was a glass of sweet tea in a mason jar in my hands.

The weekend went by so fast, but I was glad I was able to catch up on some sleep and see my family.

In the next few days I’ll be saying good-bye to my one of my dearest friends who is moving to Seattle. I’m going to miss her a lot, but I am so happy for her new career opportunity even more. We have already committed to touching base with each other at least once a month, and I am already planning my first trip to see her after she gets settled.

Well I’m off to hit the hay. Good night, and sweet dreams lovelies.

p.s. I realize I missed Monday’s inspiration last week, so I’ll make sure it’s a good one tomorrow.  ;)

  1. Love these pics Elena!! I especially love the last one, it definitely looks like you are in the Old South somewhere… and your sweat tea? it’s just off to the side near the porch swing, right? ;)

      Thank you Christina! Yup, that’s right! ;) I thought it would make the perfect tag for me, because it had that kinda “anthro feeling” to it. ;) xo…e
