Bohemian Boyfriend

{blazer-Cartonnier, dress-Free People (on sale!), nekclace-Ebay, boots-Steve Madden, bag-Pretty Penny, bangles-Rachel Leigh, watch-La Mer, ring-Alkemie, belt-the hubby’s}

I’ve been on maxi dress overload the last few days I have to admit.

But I have to tell ya, I am loving every single moment of it ! ;)

And this Free People lovely in particular (if you follow me on Twitter & Facebook, you saw a little sneak peek of it a few days ago). The moment I slipped this baby on I was in comfy heaven.

I wore this little get-up yesterday to work, and I love how my cream boyfriend blazer off-sets the bohemian vibe of the rest of the outfit. Making it a little more streamlined and more “put-together”, without losing it’s boho vibe.

Though at the end of the day I had a little bit of a sad moment, as I realized underneath the bottom of my dress had gotten snagged from the embellishments on my boots. :(

From the front it still looks fine, but that will be the last time I wear those boots with this dress.

Fo’ sho’.

As I mentioned in my last outfit post, I will be saying good-bye to a dear friend, and that day will be here tomorrow. My dear friend Angela a.k.a “Cuzzo” who has been my fashionista partner in crime the last 4 years, and whom I’ve known since high school is starting a new exciting chapter of her life in the rainy state, Seattle, Washington.

I’d like to think of it as more of a, “see ya later”, than a good-bye honestly. And look at tomorrow as more of a celebration of looking forward to things to come.

Well we’re at the half-way mark of the work week, and the weekend will be here before we know it. ;)
