So as you can see I chose the second outfit, with a slight change. Unfortunately my first top of choice had a little stain on it, which I didn’t notice initially. But it worked out, as there was still a bit of a cool breeze, so my chambray blazer worked perfectly.
If you read my post yesterday, you know I was contemplating two different outfit choices. I’ve garnered a pretty nice collection of shorts since last year that I was super excited that it was warm enough for me to bust out a pair for the day. I just couldn’t choose??!
But I inevitably went with my Lilka printed shorts, which are actually considered “lounge” shorts, ya know the type of shorts you’re suppose to wear around the house, or to bed?! But whatevs, these babies are going outside! The print, color, and “oh-so-comfiness” of them make it mandatory.
I wore them with my new Joie “Santo” wrapped ankle booties I purchased on sale from Tobi. I originally had wanted the “San Francisco” criss-cross bootie version, that I had spied at Shopbop last year, and of course stayed waiting for me in my wishlist. But as the story goes, as soon as they went on sale, those babies were gone.
I had put them behind me and excepted my loss, but then was reminded of them again when Carey from Corks & Caftans purchased the “Top of the World” over-the-knee boots version. I must say, those things are sex-ay!
And to quote my fellow favorite blogger, “So these are my new boots. Meet them, ogle them, curse me for getting them for 70% 65% off. But don’t you dare tell me I’m wrong.“
Plus, I gave up a RM handbag for these bad boys, and ya know what? It was totally worth it.
Havin a little fun. Don’t worry I didn’t touch the rail with the seagull poop.
My two days off in a row, were nice I have to admit. It was just enough time to actually catch up on some rest, and to my hubby’s delight, some house cleaning.
Btw, in case you were wondering my nail color is “Artful Dodger” by Butter London.
More nice weather ahead. Fingers crossed the weather man is correct.
