Sorry for the constant array of photos shot in my uninspiring parking lot, but the hubby and I have been…let’s just say, keepin it simple right now.
He’s been pretty tired and overwhelmed at work, and my “headspace” has been somewhere else. It’s been really hard to focus. But be assured most of things swirlin in my noggin are postive things, and honestly things that I’m pretty excited about, and looking forward to before the year is up.
More on “those things” when the time gets closer.
Since earlier today I tweeted just a peek of my skirt I wore today, I thought, “What the heck! Let’s show the whole ensem, shall we.”
This outfit definitely still screams Summer, which may not make sense to some, but those who live in the Bay Area know our Summer weather is just beginning. Oh by the way, a quick shout out to Erin of Apartment #34! She and her hubby recently moved to my neighboring city of San Francisco. I am absolutely smitten with her blog, and it’s is one of the firsts that inspired me to start my own about 2 years ago.
Welcome Erin! Have fun exploring, and I hope you absolutely love it here!
I have to say I adore this skirt. The twirlin & swingin action is devine. And it has pockets to boot!
Oh yes!
Man, it’s only Tuesday, and I’m already wishing it was Friday! I’ll be celebrating a dear friend’s exciting new career opportunity, then it’ll be no time for fun, the hubby and I are way overdue for some major house cleaning!
Domestic bliss.

Thank you so much for the shout out my dear! Any SF tips you have please send them my way!!
Of course! I’m so thrilled that you live over here now. I swear you’re the only legitimate comment I’ve received last night. I get at least 10-20 “spam” comments a day. Is there any way of blocking them? I did do a post of a fairly new furnishings store called H.D. Buttercup in SF. If you’re in need of some new things to furnish your place, it would be a great place to check out.
Looking forward to all of your wonderful discoveries!
Gorgeous pictures Elena!!!! I love the way you accessorized. it’s a great summer outfit that can be converted into fall. Xoxo
Thank you Lucy! You’re the bestest!
