So how was your Thanksgiving?! I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun time with family and friends yesterday.
Will and I stayed home, and he made us a delicious feast for the two of us. His mom stopped by, and hung out with us for awhile, but we will celebrate with the rest of the family officially on Saturday.
Today Will and I spent some time with my dad and took him out to lunch. He seems to be doing ok, and in good spirits which is what I look for when I see him. Every time I see him I wish I could do more for him. Though I know I am not responsible for his condition and situation, I want the best for him.
After, we headed back towards home, and though we avoided the massive craziness of Black Friday this morning, we did end up taking a quick trip into Best Buy. Will wanted to check out the Dyson vacuum cleaner and a hard drive, that he had spotted in their black friday ads, but we ended up walking away with a new little tv for our bedroom and a Canon Elph for me! I had lost mine during a baseball trip earlier this year.
So I was pretty happy.
Later we stopped to take a few quick shots along this tree lined street that I have always wanted to take pictures at. I love how the trees curve, and even though it was starting to get a bit dark when we took these, I think we were able to capture a little of the Fall colored leaves.
Will spotted this lovely green wall on our way back to the car. He thought it’d make the perfect backdrop for a few quick shots.
I think he was correct. I love the contrast of the green against my rust colored cords.
Well tonight we’re headed out to try our hand at salsa dancing for the first time.
My sweet friend Susana invited us, and I think it should be a lot of fun. I will definitely let you know how it went.
Happy Holiday Weekend Lovelies!

glad to hear pops is doing alright
hey, looking foxy in those cords! and I’m jealous you got out of Black Friday, although in retrospect, I think volunteering was my downside. My left hip was aching for days afterwards from working cashwrap for 5 hours straight!
xx
Thank you. Yea it’s hard having a family member who is mentally ill. I’ve struggled with my relationship with my dad for years! It’s not as “weighty” anymore, but I still have my moments.
Thanks Care Bear! You looked pretty foxy in them too!
I didn’t even request Black Friday off, so I was pretty surprised. 5 hours?! Ouch! Did you at least have comfy shoes on?
