Yes I know it’s been about a month since my last post, and again I apologize. So, I’m back from a 2 week vaca with the hubby and definitely feeling a bit more inspired and ready to get back to blogging again, but with a different outlook on it for sure.

We visited New York, Paris, and Brussels, and in a way it was kind of our “make-up honeymoon” shall we say. It was a jammed packed 2 weeks of exploring, crazy driving, and plenty of food indulging. By the time we made it to Brussels, we had a moment to kind of take everything all in and spend some quality time with my best friend Julie, and her amazing little boy Matteo. And as you may know, if you have been following my blog for awhile, I consider them more like family, than friends.

It was definitely hard to leave them, but was so glad we got to spend the time that we did. We are already planning our next trip to visit them again!

Most of these photos were taken in Chelsea, N.Y. at High Line Park. It’s an old railroad that was transformed into a beautiful walking path filled with quirky art and a little lush greenery. A few were taken around the Chelsea Market area.

New York was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and since it was Will’s first time, it made it even that more exciting. Btw, during our stay I had found out through Instagram that Rumi of Fashiontoast was in New York at the same time, and it seemed I had kept missing her by just a few hours every where we went! I kept hoping I’d run into her, but it never happened. Oh well. If by any chance Rumi you come across this post, know that you were one of my inspirations to start my blog, so thank you!

I’ll be sharing some more photos from Brooklyn, which we both had never been to, but completely fell in love with. It was more our vibe, a little more laid back, and not so hustle & bustle.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend, it’s back to work for me tomorrow so I’m off to get my Z’s…

p.s. I still plan on freshening up this space, but it’s just gonna take me a little longer than anticipated.
