Merry Christmas eve everyone! I hope you all had an amazing time with family and friends today, and it was the perfect start to your Christmas day!
Will and I hosted our first family get together this Christmas eve, we have never had so many family members together in one space before! Our families are not big on holidays, but we hope this is the start to a new family tradition. It was a bit last minute, and we both felt the pressure for things to go off without a hitch. We have been crazy decorating the house and buying a few last minute presents for everyone (yes, we were one of those shopping on Christmas Eve!). But in the end everything turned out great, and even my mom and dad were able to be in the same vicinity of each other. Whew!
I know in my last post I said I would share my holiday DIY project, but unfortunately I never completed it.
Just too much to do in too little time. I was inspired to make my own paper snowflakes after seeing a post on making them by Bugs and Fishes by Lupin, and was even going to kick it up a notch and add some dazzling silver GLITTER! I got as far as purchasing all my materials, drawing my circles out, and cutting one snowflake. Yes one. So it was an unsuccessful attempt, but I do plan to complete this fun little project next year! Mark my words!
Happy Holidays everyone!
